A lovely place with such amazing staff. The platters were beautiful, enough for everyone all freshly made.
We were in the area for a long weekend and thought we stop by for a few cocktails after a walk. The cocktails were soo good and the atmosphere was perfect we ended back there the next night. After letting slip it was my mums birthday holiday they were so kind and welcoming and made us feel like locals! The cocktails are fantastic, when ordering the barman told me he made the best strawberry daiquiri and he definitely was not lying! Would definitely visit again if in the area. Also dog friendly.
Amazing food & Amazing Staff & amazing service loved it
What great little pub/cafe. We had a great time. Thank you
Dropped into Bar18 for tea/coffee after walking along sea front with friends. We had2 teas & 1 latte along fruit scone, jam & clotted cream. We were welcomed by the owner who took our order. The cafe/bar is lovely & clean with plenty of space for me to bring my mobility scooter in. The scones were lovely & moist with plenty of fruit. We all agreed that they were the best scones we have had on the Island. Prices were also very competitive. Well done folks we will be back next time we’re in Hayling from Bonnie Scotland. 👏🏻⭐️
I believe that it's important to support local coastal businesses and especially in winter when the tourist season foot fall is down. Wherever, or not, you're a local, or a visitor to Hayling Island Bar 18 is must visit for a relaxed and fun evening with a great range of wines, on tap and bottled beers and cocktails that look too pretty to drink. On this occasion we pre-ordered our sea food platter which was prepared to our taste as neither of us wanted crab. We phoned ahead of arrival and our platter was ready for us when we arrived. I had crisp and highly quaffable Savignon Blanc and my husband had the draft Guinness. I had a sip of his Guinness. It was chilled to perfection. Our sea food platter was exceptional with a plentiful supply of bread and butter and offers of more bread too! It's clear that Fiona has a passion for preparing and serving good quality food. Fiona and Terry the owners could not have been more kind and welcoming and it's clear they want their customers to relax into the comfort of their squidgy sofas and have an enjoyable time. While we there, we noted our fellow guests enjoying themselves too. Not everyone has a meal but if you and if you haven't pre ordered a sea food or a cheese and meat board then you can order a cheese toasty and crisps which looked super tasty. We're definitely going back because of the warmth of the welcome, the superb quality food and actually but important it's really good value. Thank you Fiona and Terry for creating such a warm and welcoming wine bar. Just perfect.
Absolute gem of a place lovely staff great seafood always look after us and make us feel very welcome. It’s our new local now. We travel up from Southampton just to be here
